The council Venturing committee is run by three youth officers:  council venturing president, vice-president of program, and vice-president of administration.

Elections for the VOA officers are held before annual Venturing Banquet. Elections procedures are outlined in the VOA By-Laws.

Those Venturers that are interested in running for office, need to complete the nomination form, have it signed by their advisor and sent with a photo and a bio of no more than 200 words to the council office by August 1. The earlier the nomination form is submitted, the longer candidates have to campaign and promote their candidacy on the social media site and have their bio posted on the Venturing website.
